Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of facilities coordination. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with being an enthusiastic self-starter with exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. A detailed and methodical approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues is also required, as is the ability to work as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance.
The Senior Facilities Coordinator will facilitate maintenance requests from the studio, including ergonomic requirements, manage all HVAC/BMS requirements, and oversee relationships with contractors and suppliers, including onboarding new vendors. They will also manage First Aid and Fire Wardens, ensuring training is up to date, assist with reporting, support Operations Manager with implementing WHS changes, build and manage a proactive maintenance program for the studio, maintain the aesthetics of the studio in collaboration with the Facilities Manager and Operations Manager, manage ILM car parking for visitors and staff in conjunction with Disney Studios Australia Security, provide coverage at the reception desk and with various facilities tasks, cover early and late shifts as needed, assist with staff events and screenings, and mentor coordinator and runner roles.
