Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned responsibilities are conducted to time and quality expectations.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of and compliance to Nielsen’s research processes and workflow.
  • Support manager on day-to-day project execution (e.g., designing/changing inputs in the questionnaire, link testing).
  • Demonstrate full ownership of assigned tasks and projects from start to finish, ensuring a high level of attention to detail throughout.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure timely and proactive communication with partner divisions like data processing, data collection, Vendors & Other teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Ensure that materials to Ops & other support teams are sent on schedule and thoroughly checked for errors.
  • Proactive communications during project lifecycle to managers/clients as appropriate (e.g., status report updates, highlighting database issues).
  • Attend client presentations with the manager to support as required.

Qualifications

Role Expectations (Knowledge & Skillsets)

  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Market Research: Experience in Market Research with quantitative research projects is a must.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the telecom sector is good to have but not mandatory.
  • Client Focus: Strong client focus and understanding of research techniques to enable meaningful conversations with all client stakeholders and ensure accurate representation of the data in reporting and insights.
  • Analytical Skills: Understanding of analysis tools and data interpretation, excellent numerical skills.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Analysis
    • Report writing
    • Presentation
    • Ability to draft questionnaires based on client brief and proposal.
    • Write Analysis plan & develop charting templates.
    • Effectively brief charting & tabulation teams on the project requirements.
    • Checking the data tables and charts to spot errors.
    • Drafting reports & commentaries.
    • Ability to work seamlessly on MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
