Requirements

The candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental site assessment and remediation, with demonstrated experience in Brownfields, CERCLA, RCRA Corrective Action, and/or state Voluntary Remediation Programs (VRPs). They should have knowledge of current and emerging remedial technologies, particularly with a preference for PFAS experience, and be able to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. A 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and the ability to carry 25 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated platforms are also required.

Responsibilities

This Senior Environmental Engineer or Scientist will oversee environmental site assessment and remediation projects, providing senior-level management, guidance, and deliverable review for environmental assessments, investigations, permitting activities, and remediation evaluations. They will direct medium to large scale complex projects to ensure internal and external expectations are met, write and review technical documents including ESAs and remediation plans, review SAPs and QAPPs, interpret data to evaluate and design remediation systems, manage and train staff, assist with recruitment, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
