Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Utility Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of experience in energy efficiency engineering, with a focus on commercial facilities. Strong knowledge of utility regulations, particularly those of the PA and CPUC, is required, along with proficiency in energy modeling software and experience conducting energy audits.
Responsibilities
The Energy Efficiency Engineering Lead will support the implementation of energy efficiency projects, conducting site audits, completing energy modeling, and performing economic analysis to quantify energy impacts. They will also be responsible for developing project scopes, writing technical reports summarizing project economics, conducting measurement and verification (M&V) site visits, and serving as the primary point of contact with customers on the technical side, joining calls with clients to discuss projects. Furthermore, the role involves analyzing energy usage patterns in various facility systems and recommending energy efficiency improvements, as well as preparing reports and documentation for project implementation.
