The Key Account Executive Remediation is responsible for managing and providing support of internal and external remediation account management. The goal of the Key Account Executive Remediation is to develop and grow the Remedial business for an assigned area, including maintaining and developing new and existing lines of business.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Superior account ownership, providing customer centric solutions while building strong Customer Zeal with internal and external customers.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Remediation Services, and complex projects by growing the Remediation project line, including managing designated revenue responsibility in assigned accounts while managing targeted Environmental Solutions accounts in the respective area coverage.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships, including follow up, support, problem solving, technical, regulatory, and service recommendations.
  • Participate in Area Sales Meetings to maximize communication to local Territory Sales Representatives and Account Managers regarding technical expertise, LOB/enhancements, value proposition, and competitor updates as needed.
  • Provide technical expertise with regards to bidding, planning & execution of Projects.
  • Team with Leadership and Remediation Operations Team in developing and implementing market strategies and increasing market penetration.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of generating new business opportunities in the Environmental Field.
  • Strong technical expertise with an extensive understanding of environmental solutions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and the ability to produce high quality, error free work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Minimum Qualifications

  • An equivalent combination of education and 3 years’ relevant waste or industry experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and possess both the desire and the ability to meet with clients and attend appropriate industry expos, conferences and networking events as needed.
