Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in BDR, SDR, or inside sales roles within SaaS, enterprise software, or healthcare
  • Demonstrated success with outbound prospecting and generating qualified pipeline
  • Experience mentoring peers, leading initiatives, or operating as a team lead (formal or informal)
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools, CRM workflows, sequence building, and metrics tracking (Salesforce & Outreach strongly preferred)
  • Strong planning skills, comfort with data, and an ability to set and evaluate KPIs
  • Growth mindset and resilience
  • Ability to balance individual execution with team leadership

Responsibilities

  • Own outreach to high-value or complex healthcare accounts
  • Design and stand up outbound and nurture programs
  • Analyze performance, refine messaging, and update campaigns
  • Serve as the senior member of a small BDR team
  • Help define expectations for activity, pipeline creation, and qualification standards
  • Coach junior BDRs
  • Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and help establish processes for scaling the BDR function
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Account Executives to align on qualification criteria, follow-up expectations, and feedback loops
  • Contribute to designing the long-term structure of the BDR organization, including roles, processes, onboarding, and enablement assets
