Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and 5+ years of managerial experience OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and 5+ years of managerial experience
  • About 10-15% travel required

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing coaching, development, and performance feedback
  • Oversee the design and optimization of manufacturing processes, production layouts, and equipment installations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance
  • Drive new product introductions (NPI), collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in development, quality, and operations
  • Develop and implement strategies for process improvements, risk mitigation, and cost savings across the site
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Medtronic’s standards for process controls and quality assurance
  • Manage capital projects, including technology transfers, equipment validation, and integration of new manufacturing technologies
  • Facilitate effective communication and feedback between manufacturing teams, development engineers, quality engineers, and senior management
  • Partner with operations leadership to support business growth, continuous improvement initiatives, and future funding strategies
  • Represent the site in interactions with contract manufacturers and suppliers, coordinating local visits and collaboration
