Requirements
Candidates should have 8+ years of experience as a production-level engineer with a focus on building highly scalable and reliable software systems, including technical leadership responsibilities, 4+ years of hands-on managerial experience, a strong alignment with DevOps principles, a mindset of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, proficiency with Linux-based systems and comfort working from the command line, and experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including designing and supporting SaaS architectures and cloud-native infrastructure.
Responsibilities
The Senior Engineering Manager will build a high-performing team by hiring and nurturing engineering talent, provide strong technical leadership to drive technical solutioning and shorten time-to-resolution metrics, build roadmaps and set aggressive and clear goals and remove all roadblocks for the team to achieve them, work seamlessly and collaboratively with stakeholders across Aledade to achieve business outcomes, work closely with engineering leaders to drive engineering excellence in our processes and systems, and lead incident response efforts, drive improvements in observability, automation tooling, and runbook documentation—ensuring that our systems are not only resilient but also continuously improving.
