As a passionate and experienced Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented group of engineers building the infrastructure that powers clinical care across all Thirty Madison brands. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • Base Pay: $158,400 - $217,800 per year (offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, ensuring they are engaged, growing, and delivering high-quality work.
  • Manage the delivery of key initiatives that expand the capabilities of our clinical care and pharmacy systems.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, Clinical, and Pharmacy teams to align on priorities and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Build and evolve scalable applications and microservices using technologies like React, GraphQL, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship while actively contributing to architecture and solution design.
  • Create a strong team culture of technical excellence, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for engineering best practices, including testing, monitoring, and quality assurance.
  • Participate in planning, resourcing, and prioritization discussions to help set direction for the broader Care Technology team.
  • Act as a force multiplier for the team by identifying and proactively resolving blockers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams, preferably in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
  • 7+ years of overall experience in software engineering, including full-stack development with modern web technologies.
  • A track record of growing and mentoring engineers, with a strong commitment to people development and team health.
  • Hands-on technical expertise with scalable systems and experience with distributed system design.
  • Strong organizational skills and a history of delivering projects that involve multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term technical investment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially working cross-functionally.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for creating exceptional patient and provider experiences.
  • An understanding of the technical challenges in the healthcare industry is a plus.
