Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a Diploma with proven expertise in Electrical disciplines, along with substantial technical knowledge of electrical item design and selection, such as rotating machines, MV/LV panels, and variable speed drive systems. Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment is also required, alongside fluency in both English and Italian (oral and written) and holding an EU passport or work permit.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, the role involves conducting autonomous execution of electrical engineering projects for complex power generation and moto-compression trains, acting as the electrical unique entry point. Responsibilities include designing and developing new products, performing technical selection of electrical items, formulating functional purchase specifications, managing technical documentation, conducting engineering design reviews, participating in FAT tests, and providing site support during plant commissioning and start-up. Additionally, the engineer will carry out electric studies and simulations using tools like Matlab/Simulink, ETAP, and DigSilent, collaborating with suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with specifications and international rules.
