  • Ability to demonstrate product and procedural knowledge, clinical and procedure excellence, product expertise, and new product introduction experience
  • Ability to recruit, hire, and retain professional and high-achieving sales consultants for each territory in the region
  • Experience in providing ongoing performance management, coaching, and development of direct reports
  • Ability to drive business results by working closely with field sales team to set and achieve territory objectives, while driving patient care and customer satisfaction
  • Experience assuming a lead role in territory for acquisition of new accounts and surgeon relationships, and assisting field sales representatives in penetrating existing accounts with new technologies
  • Ability to implement sales processes, including business plans, contract strategy and execution, and pricing models in both Hospital & Private Practice channels
  • Possession and demonstration of understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations, Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures, and guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of 8-10 sales reps focused on driving sales activities to achieve business objectives within business policies, guidelines, and departmental budget
  • Implementing and executing selling strategies and strategic sales plans to achieve overall sales goals and objectives
  • Providing ongoing performance management, coaching, and development of direct reports
  • Driving business results by working closely with field sales team to set and achieve territory objectives, while driving patient care and customer satisfaction
  • Assuming a lead role in the territory for acquisition of new accounts and surgeon relationships, and assisting field sales representatives in penetrating existing accounts with new technologies
  • Implementing sales processes, including business plans, contract strategy and execution, and pricing models in both Hospital & Private Practice channels
  • Interacting with Global and Commercial Marketing, Healthcare Compliance, Commercial Education, Commercial Operations, Pricing and Contract Compliance, and potentially Global Marketing business functions/departments
  • Reporting to the Head of US Sales
