Ability to report directly to the Global VP People & Talent
Experience leading a dynamic People team and talented employees throughout China
Maturity and agility to partner with global senior leadership (CXOs, GMs) and regional leadership
Capability to provide end-to-end functional leadership for People & Talent initiatives in China locations (Shanghai, Beijing, Xian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen)
Based in Shanghai with willingness to travel from time to time
Expertise across People disciplines: recruitment, employee relations, performance management, remuneration & benefits, talent management and development, mobility, and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, consulting, and coaching to China leaders across all areas of People discipline including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, remuneration & benefits, talent management and development, mobility, and regulatory compliance
Assist and/or lead, as appropriate, with the development and administration of programs related to People initiatives
Play a strategic part in leading the People team and employees throughout China to enable operations growth and build employee communities
Support high employee engagement alongside senior leadership
Implement People & Talent initiatives that enable delivery of group strategy and business plans for China locations
Partner with global senior leadership (from Singapore HQ) and regional leadership
