Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university with extensive experience or Bachelor’s degree with significant experience in Services, Consulting, and Selling
  • Direct experience in hospital operations for at least a significant portion of time with health systems
  • Experience leading and managing people and teams
  • Basic knowledge of health IT systems, EMR, etc
  • Strong connection to the healthcare community with contacts to other healthcare professionals across the United States or in targeted markets (desired)
  • Demonstrated prowess in identifying and securing new business opportunities (desired)
  • Proven capability to analyze, strategize, and resolve problems (desired)
  • Established expertise in leading clients through a sales process (desired)
  • Sound project management acumen (desired)

Responsibilities

  • Plans and oversees clinical command center programs with large scope and scale, ensuring high quality delivery within area of responsibility and client satisfaction
  • Manages program deliverables, timelines, risks, and resource requirements
  • Personally engages hospital and health system leaders who can influence or decide on purchasing Command Center solutions
  • Develops and executes aggressive sales strategies to identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities
  • Leads or co-leads deal execution through the full sales cycle, including qualification, proposal, negotiation, and contracting
  • Leads or supports responses to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring compelling, compliant, and timely submissions
  • Creates compelling business proposals and presentations to win new contracts and partnerships
  • Provides input into business strategy and product refinement based on voice of customer and other sources of market insights
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings; interprets internal and external business dynamics, advocating best practices to refine products, processes, or services
  • Harnesses sophisticated judgment skills to navigate complex tasks or challenges in areas like project management, client sales progression management, and sales strategy
  • Evaluates the quality and relevance of information, engages in critical questioning, and utilizes a range of sources to arrive at well-informed decisions
  • Directs/participates in cross-functional teams or projects characterized by minimal resource requirements, risk, or complexity
  • Articulates complex concepts effectively and steers colleagues and/or prospective clients to consider alternative perspectives
  • Collaborates with GEHC region leadership to identify opportunities for client partnership, resource sharing, and other go-to-market activities
  • Manages delivery consultants as a people leader – responsible for talent development, career guidance, and HR/business requirements
