Candidates should possess an extensive experience and demonstrated mastery in developing Large Language Models, ideally relating them seamlessly with either Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) or Text-to-Speech (TTS) applications, and an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. Strong programming skills in Python and the ability to implement complex machine learning algorithms are also required.
The Senior Research Scientist, LLM will architect, design, and implement state-of-the-art generative AI models for ASR or TTS applications through the proficient use of LLMs, leverage expertise to effectively train, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, innovate and enhance existing ASR or TTS models by integrating the power of LLMs, and stay fully abreast of the latest advancements in generative AI, ASR, TTS, and language modeling to continually enhance the overall performance of the systems.
