Requirements

Candidates should possess a deep mastery of SQL and strong fundamentals in data modeling. They must be skilled in Python and comfortable with modern data workflow orchestration tools like Airflow. A thoughtful, detail-oriented approach with a passion for building clean, performant, and reliable data pipelines is essential. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, particularly in a distributed team environment, are required. Familiarity with SQL, Python, Airflow, dbt, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, AWS (S3, RDS, EC2), Terraform, and Docker is expected.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Engineer will design and build reliable, performant ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, and Airflow. They will collaborate with the Data Architect on data modeling, schema design, and warehouse optimization. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining data infrastructure, ensuring data quality and integrity through testing and monitoring, and working with engineering and product teams to deliver data. The role also involves participating in code reviews, improving data engineering best practices, and troubleshooting production data workflows.
