Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, with 7+ years in top-tier advertising agencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience adapting to diverse cultural environments
  • Strong understanding of traditional advertising, design, and digital creative trends
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments (Entertainment, Operations, PR, Walt Disney Imagineering, Food & Beverage)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to present ideas and opinions effectively to leadership and receptive to feedback
  • Strong critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop creative assets including stories, design, branding, TV commercials, key visuals, posters, OOH advertising, and digital content
  • Provide world-class creative, conceptual, and strategic excellence to all Shanghai Disney Resort marketing initiatives
  • Partner closely with Creative Directors, Executives, and internal marketing partners to deliver high-quality creative and strategic excellence
  • Manage, inspire, and mentor a team of creative design and broadcast production professionals
  • Oversee creative execution with external agency partners, including photographers, designers, illustrators, and editors
  • Collaborate with external partners to deliver high-quality creative
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, styles, and technologies and share this knowledge with the team
  • Work effectively with various departments, including Entertainment, Operations, Public Relations, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Food & Beverage
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally
  • Leadership for the creative team including ideation, presentation, organization, and training
