The ideal candidate has a blend of upper and lower funnel marketing expertise, with experience in building organic social programs from the ground up and crafting efficient display ads. They should be comfortable with both DR TV spots and brand anthems, as well as winback emails and creative stunts. Proven ability to oversee copy, design, video, photo, and AI tools, with deep familiarity in channel best practices, is essential. Experience with both major productions and daily scrappier social content creation is required, along with experience managing both internal teams and external agencies, providing them with frank and frequent feedback. A track record of successfully bringing functions in-house and growing internal teams is also necessary.
The Creative Director will remodel existing marketing channels, including developing TV campaigns and tradeshow experiences, while also expanding into digital channels like social and influencer marketing. They will be responsible for growing organic social, paid social, influencer partnerships, brand partnerships, and integrated campaigns with both viral content and effective ads. This role requires a hands-on approach, including teaching the team to storyboard high-performing social content and potentially filming trend-based or UGC ads. The Creative Director will manage a team of four designers and copywriters, as well as oversee multiple external agency partners, ensuring they deliver high-quality work.
