Senior Content Designer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Content Designer to shape how millions of users experience our product through thoughtful and effective language. You will be responsible for the product's voice and tone, collaborating closely with Designers to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user delight. This role is crucial in impacting user satisfaction and product success.

The Design Team at Calendly is a collaborative group of creatives working in close partnership with Product Management and Engineering to create exceptional user experiences. We prioritize user research and interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve the best design solutions.
A Day in the Life of a Senior Content Designer
On a typical day, you will:
- Own the product's voice and tone, ensuring consistent application across all touchpoints.
- Develop content design systems, strategies, and guidelines that scale with our growing team and product offerings, promoting a unified approach to content creation.
- Seamlessly transition between high-level strategic thinking and detailed copy execution.
- Enhance product usability through clear, actionable writing.
- Conduct and collaborate on user research to test content effectiveness and iterate based on feedback.
- Partner with Designers, Researchers, Developers, Product Managers, and Marketing to understand user goals and craft meaningful, clear content.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusion by implementing content strategies that cater to a diverse user base.

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in creating and building content experiences with a proven track record of crafting engaging and effective content across various platforms.
- SaaS Focus: Experience driving Content Design in a SaaS environment, with a focus on simplifying complex interactions.
- Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating content strategy, systems thinking, and measurable impact on user experience.
- UX Knowledge: Strong understanding of UX principles, inclusive design, and content best practices.
- Research Skills: Experience with content research methods such as card sorting, tree testing, and A/B testing to inform content decisions.
- Localization & Accessibility: Experience writing content that is accessible and easily localizable.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
- Work Authorization: Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America. Calendly does not currently engage in immigration sponsorship.

- Salary: The expected annual base salary for this role is subject to change.
- Factors Considered: Calendly considers relevant experience, skills, interview performance, location, and internal pay equity when determining starting salary.
- Total Rewards: Base salary is part of a comprehensive total rewards package. Full-time employees (30+ hours/week) are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits.
