Candidates must have a degree in (Business) Informatics, IT Security, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, with at least 3 years in ISMS environments, is required. Expertise in at least two of the following standards/regulations is necessary: ISO 27001, TISAX, BSI-Grundschutz, NIS2. Experience in leading cross-functional project teams and managing external service providers is essential. Proficiency with project management tools and methods (classic and agile) is expected, as is strong presentation and moderation skills at the C-level. Candidates should also possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, diplomatic tact, and resilience.

Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant will independently lead and coordinate ISMS implementation projects (ISO 27001, TISAX, BSI-Grundschutz). They will develop project plans, define milestones, and structure work packages for complex security projects. Responsibilities include steering and managing stakeholders at executive and board levels, leading and coordinating interdisciplinary project teams (internal and external), and proactive risk and resource management in multi-project environments. The role involves providing senior-level technical consulting, ensuring the quality of project deliverables, and being responsible for project budget, schedule, and quality. Additionally, the consultant will mentor junior consultants and actively promote knowledge transfer within the team.
