Requirements

Candidates must have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, familiarity with CSS and HTML, and familiarity with Single-Page Web Applications. Familiarity with Declarative User Interface (UI) libraries like React.JS, Svelt, or Vue.js is also required, along with excitement for video editing and developing tools for creators. Beneficial skills include experience creating web apps, experience with video content creation for social media, working knowledge of video development concepts, and experience in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

The Senior Computer Scientist will work on core features for the next generation of web-based video editing tools, developing creative, high-quality, and robust features in an Agile environment. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with Quality Engineers, other Developers, Product Management, Program Management, and User Experience Designers to implement features. The role involves engaging with customers to shape new features, writing automation tests, performing code reviews, and owning the development of complex features. Successful candidates will act as technical leaders, communicate ideas effectively, influence others, provide creative solutions, and take ownership to influence product direction.
