Requirements

Candidates must possess a JD or US law degree and be admitted to practice in at least one US state. A minimum of 8 years of experience as a practicing attorney is required, with at least 5 of those years focused on technology-related commercial legal matters, preferably within the SaaS industry. The ideal candidate will be a creative, analytical, and detail-oriented thinker with a business-oriented approach and the ability to think strategically.

Responsibilities

The Senior Commercial Counsel will review, advise on, and negotiate various enterprise B2B commercial agreements, including licenses, data processing, business associate, information security, professional services, channel partner, and NDAs. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams on legal, regulatory, and corporate matters, assisting with global expansion, and developing training materials for business teams on legal best practices.
