Requirements

Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division, primarily responsible for case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through in designated territory and region as needed
Heavy focus on Vessel Closure products
Ability to serve as technical procedure and product expert in hospital settings
Experience meeting with existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify clinical needs, goals, and constraints
Capability to develop relationships with hospital personnel, make new contacts, and identify key decision makers
Serve as primary resource for clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
Skills in educating customers via presentations and demonstrations using various formats (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals)
Ability to attend clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room
Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with sales, clinical research, marketing, and product development teams
Support broader region with case support as needed

Responsibilities

Promote Vascular products through education, service, and training of customers in hospital settings
Provide clinical education and sales support to achieve projected sales goals, increase sales revenues, and market share
Serve as technical procedure and product expert for case coverage in hospitals
Meet with customers to discuss and demonstrate how Vascular products meet clinical needs and goals
Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers
Provide clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products
Educate customers on product merits, clinical usage, latest developments, and industry updates via presentations and demonstrations
Attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products
Respond to customer needs and complaints with creative solutions or team collaboration
Support case coverage in the broader region as needed
