Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with top-tier and mid-tier Walmart clients and partner stakeholders
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business challenges, marketing objectives and success metrics. Shape annual joint strategies between Walmart and clients, leading cross-functional teams to drive client success
  • Reach and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas through effective presentation of Walmart Connect advertising products/solutions that will meet client marketing objectives, while contributing to team goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (eCommerce, Merchandising, Marketing) as well as external client stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive revenue and lead the pitching, negotiating and execution of program. Educate stakeholders on the Walmart Connect offerings and unique selling propositions
  • Conduct forward-thinking, data driven analyses, and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and present high-impact opportunities to clients
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Account Managers, demonstrating strong backend knowledge and the ability to lean in and ensure smooth operations
  • Attend industry events (may be virtual), network and stay well-informed of industry trends. Travel as required to meet with clients. Collaborate with colleagues onsite at Walmart offices
  • Act as sub-category subject matter expert, working directly with cross-functional internal stakeholders
  • Become an expert in Walmart Connect as well as the Canadian retail media landscape, trends, and business models through deep partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Manage a portfolio of top-tier and mid-tier advertiser accounts and use expertise to build relationships by advising clients and creating strategic retail media plans
  • Help define best practices, processes, and forge through ambiguity to move the business forward
