Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 9+ years of experience in a media agency/online sales role servicing Retail and Ecommerce brands or experience working for a Retail and Ecommerce brand in a Sales or Marketing role
  • Knowledge of online and offline media and ability to be creative with audio and digital client solutions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with established experience building and maintaining relationships with senior leadership in enterprise organizations
  • Proven track record of working on accounts with longer sales cycles and complexity, consistently identifying and proactively presenting and delivering partnership revenue and ideas above and beyond long-term commitments or upfronts
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to create and manage sales opportunities, maintain client accounts, and forecast revenue
  • Dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc
  • Deep understanding of digital ecosystem
  • Team player who adapts well to change and has a positive attitude
  • Ability to role model and mentor existing team members, provide feedback, guidance, and resources to simplify and solve problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and across external and internal teams to deliver creative, fresh campaigns

Responsibilities

  • Sell audio advertising, display formats, video formats, and other ad space to grow advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and clients directly (including Programmatic)
  • Provide strategic solutions, anticipate client needs, and influence vertical or sub-vertical strategies
  • Influence and lead other cross-functional (XFN) teams while understanding how to leverage, delegate, and lead all other resources and specialist teams available
  • Manage senior level (VP or Director) relationships, and manage all levels of a customer organization on a consistent basis and involve Spotify XFN Leadership to drive executive engagement
  • Work across multiple agency departments (e.g., strategy, comms planning, radio, digital, programmatic, branded content, and innovation teams) to deliver successful campaigns
  • Coordinate with the communications planning team and strategic planners, account directors, and buyers to create successful ad campaigns
  • Focus on brand sell, educating and inspiring clients to use Spotify to enhance their business
  • Represent Spotify at events and serve as a brand ambassador
  • Manage activity using Salesforce
