Requirements
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of Australian Civil or Structures experience, along with demonstrated proficiency in using Bluebeam and the Microsoft suite. Experience with Expert Estimator or similar estimating software is considered a desirable qualification.
Responsibilities
The Senior Civil Estimator will review tender documents, manage the quantity take-off process and prepare Bill of Quantities, oversee project-specific teams, and lead complex tender bids. They will seek best value delivery methodologies to gain a competitive advantage, prepare and coordinate tender schedules, provide training and support for Junior Estimators, manage quantity take-off compliance, liaise with the Commercial Manager regarding contract risks, attend monthly meetings, and seek client feedback during tender debriefs.
