Position Overview

We are seeking a vibrant and sharp mind to join us as a Sr. Channel Development Manager - AHEAD, focusing on managing and enabling Channel Partners within the Cohesity Partner Ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enable Channel Partners in the Cohesity Partner Ecosystem.
  • Build and manage account and partner plans, including tasks within the Channel Management System (CMS).
  • Strategically grow pipeline and manage pipeline conversion.
  • Create awareness, demand, and preference for Cohesity products and services.
  • Collaborate with partners to drive bookings.
  • Identify, recruit, and develop new Partners to sell and provide services.
  • Forecast partner pipeline conversion in coordination with sales teams.
  • Develop and lead sales strategies and jointly developed business plans for assigned Partner/Distribution accounts.
  • Enable Partner sales and technical teams in line with GTM plans and partner program requirements, tracking performance against defined outcomes and metrics.
  • Develop selling & services opportunities with and within Partner organizations, penetrating new divisions and organizations within assigned Partner accounts.
  • Coordinate marketing activities, leveraging Cohesity marketing resources for prioritization, execution, and ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of demonstrable channel management experience.
  • Proven track record of strong achievement against quota.
  • Extensive knowledge gained through exposure to sophisticated business situations.
  • Significant experience in growing top Distribution Managed Partners through Distributors.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing activities.
  • A drive to successfully design effective engagement with partners.
  • Experience working with customers and technology partners.
  • Comfortable presenting technical and business material to both small and large groups.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with a strong work ethic and eagerness to take on responsibility.
  • Willingness to travel >50%.
