Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US (no sponsorship for employment visas)
  • Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 15% of time
  • Typically 8+ years of relevant experience within Manufacturing or Services industry (preferred)
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Quality, Materials, Operations Management, or Business Administration (preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, change leadership, and driving project success individually and through direct/indirect reports (preferred)
  • Hands-on Project Management and mentor experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated understanding of Six-Sigma, ideally with Black Belt (DMAIC or DFSS), minimum certified Six-Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
  • Proven cross-functional/global leadership, coaching, and drive (preferred)
  • Ability to work with others and coaching skills (preferred)
  • Project Management Professional certification (preferred)
  • New Product Introduction, product development, or material sourcing experience (preferred)
  • Understanding of business processes (preferred)
  • P&L and general financial understanding (preferred)
  • Business experience on a global scale (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Drive the business process improvement function strategically and globally, considering the global impact of local activities and decisions
  • Implement innovative ways to identify opportunities, scope projects, track benefits, and allocate resources to achieve productivity, quality, and service improvement targets aligned with business priorities, financial improvements, and customer experience
  • Demonstrate awareness, knowledge, and guidance of Lean principles, and act as a change agent in implementing methodologies and tools throughout the organization
  • Assure appropriate strategic deployment metrics and key process indicators are in place and utilized by the LSS Team
  • Select, train, assign, direct, and manage the activities of a team of Black Belts, ensuring they employ prescribed Lean Six-Sigma methodologies and techniques with clear project charters and objectives
  • Partner with business leaders to align with priorities and identify potential business needs for quality, service, and productivity improvements throughout the organization
  • Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders and business leaders to establish understanding of challenges and barriers in utilizing Lean Six-Sigma, while maintaining Rockwell Automation's engagement in Lean Enterprise
  • Lead standardization of business processes and replication of process improvements globally
  • Lead the expansion of the Continuous Improvement culture through the organization with creative and effective ways to plan and deploy certification programs
