Requirements

  • Ability to drive operations and strategy for the Business Development team as an individual contributor
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales leadership, Finance, and Business Intelligence teams
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growing SaaS company
  • Ability to drive impact through analysis
  • Roll up sleeves while maintaining a strategic mindset for future business growth
  • Report to the Director of Sales Operations
  • Hybrid role based in San Francisco office with attendance required at least twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), plus potential additional days for events

Responsibilities

  • Analyze activity and pipeline to collaborate with GTM Ops team and establish pipeline generation targets for Business Development teams
  • Develop and manage KPIs and Dashboards for insight into Business Development health and performance
  • Analyze historical data and future growth goals to drive capacity and resource allocation plans supporting annual goals
  • Understand trends, processes, and strategies driving attainment; recognize and propose adjustments
  • Ensure Business Development teams have necessary tools and structure to achieve goals; track hiring progress for capacity alignment
  • Understand pipeline streams and contributions; seek ways to enhance value creation
  • Analyze trends and performance of pipeline through sales cycle across segments and teams; propose management influences
  • Model sales-based scenarios (capacity, attainment, pipeline) to support decisions on current and future org/process design
  • Work closely with GTM and Finance departments (Sales, Marketing, Compensation) to implement processes
