  • Expertise in artificial intelligence trends, including market positioning of GI Genius and macroeconomic factors influencing AI in healthcare
  • Thorough understanding of current and future AI competitive landscape, including non-AI technologies improving patient outcomes
  • Ability to position Medtronic AI platforms as market leader
  • Well-documented record of successfully targeting, converting, and installing new GI Genius accounts at enterprise-level MSO/IDN headquarters, hospitals, and ASCs
  • Excellence in Medtronic GI portfolio integration into GI Genius sales processes with documented sales achievement
  • Ability to identify and leverage internal and external customers and vendors at various levels, negotiate agreements, and influence decision-making
  • Ability to develop the sales and clinical organization in assigned geographic territory by sharing GI Genius product expertise, skills, and sales knowledge, with focused product quota achievement
  • Ability to develop solutions to complex problems and make significant improvements to processes, systems, or products independently
  • Reside within the territory (Southern California up to San Luis Obispo) and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas by driving product adoption through delivery of clinical and economic value of Medtronic AI platforms
  • Define direction for new products (primarily GI Genius), processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy with significant impact on work group results
  • Represent organization as primary contact for specific projects and initiatives
  • Develop sales and clinical organization in assigned geographic territory by sharing GI Genius product expertise, skill set, and sales knowledge, with success defined by focused product quota achievement
  • Provide solution-oriented strategies to facilitate product adoption and accelerate sales growth
  • Establish relationships with healthcare executives, physicians, and KOLs in territory where procedures are performed or influenced
  • Interact with physicians, hospital executives, and service line administrators to close sales and drive ongoing utilization of solution-based software tech
  • Protect and expand utilization of Medtronic artificial intelligence through the GI Genius platform by executing market development and sales-oriented activities
  • Transfer knowledge and best practices to accelerate technology adoption to the greater sales force
  • Develop solutions to a broad range of issues at the account level requiring high degree of cross-functional interactions and leadership capability, with only high-level guidance
  • Align with internal and external stakeholders to execute and accelerate meaningful outcomes for strategic organizational initiatives, serving as customer-facing product expert
