Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of Android development experience with Kotlin. A deep understanding of Android frameworks, Jetpack components, and modern development patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture is essential. Strong knowledge of networking protocols like REST and WebSockets, along with offline-first architectures, is required. Responsibilities

The Senior Android Engineer will conceive, design, build, and launch new user-facing features for Cambly’s Android app. They will lead the development of new features and improvements, optimize app performance, and ensure a smooth tutoring experience. Collaboration with product and design teams to create engaging product experiences is key. The engineer will maintain high code quality through code reviews and testing, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of learning and growth.
