Requirements

Candidates should possess many years of experience building complex applications for a broad and diverse user base using Java, Kotlin, and/or C++, along with experience resolving problems, signaling risk, fostering change, and facilitating collaborative decision-making. Rust programming experience and knowledge is a plus, and familiarity with modern programming practices such as code review, unit testing, and automation is required.

Responsibilities

The Staff Android Engineer will design, debug, build, and ship medium to large-scale Android solutions that promote a healthy and inclusive internet, drive engineering decisions and feature development with a focus on user value, collaborate with partners to define requirements, effectively communicate technical perspectives, define and uphold quality standards, work closely with specialist Gecko teams, address complex problems across multiple layers, and provide solutions and feedback to Mozilla's open-source community.
