Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with advanced SQL skills and the ability to analyze large datasets to drive business insights
  • 5+ years of experience creating and optimizing dashboards in Tableau or similar BI tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Math, Business Administration, Finance, Economics) or equivalent work experience required; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex data and insights to non-technical audiences
  • Creative, scientific problem solver with a business-oriented mindset, who can apply quantitative analysis to drive decisions
  • Eager learner who quickly absorbs new information and seeks answers independently but collaborates when needed
  • Strong team player who excels in cross-functional roles and has experience influencing teams without direct authority
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to solve complex problems in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with a strong focus on delivering results
  • Familiarity with eCommerce or SaaS metrics is a plus
  • Exposure to Python or similar scripting languages is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of streamlined dashboards that turn complex data into actionable insights, supporting quick, data-driven decision-making across the organization
  • Champion best practices for data visualization and dashboard design, ensuring high-impact and efficient solutions that inspire others
  • Use advanced SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets, turning raw data into valuable business intelligence
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders and the analytics team
  • Build sustainable, scalable analytics processes and tools that promote repeatability and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Collaborate with Operations Executives, GTM, and Strategic Operations teams to provide data-driven recommendations and insights that address key challenges and opportunities
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in business metrics and measurement controls, working closely with stakeholders to ensure consistent, actionable reporting
  • Work with the Data Warehouse team to define data requirements and ensure consistency in metrics, historical tracking, troubleshooting, and documentation
