Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum qualification)
- Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, supply chain, or related area (preferred)
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, sourcing, or related areas (preferred)
- Global experience in Sourcing, Merchandising or Procurement (preferred)
- Passion for developing successful businesses and attention to detail in sourcing, finance, and supply chain fundamentals
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels, internal and external
- Knowledge of what motivates manufacturers, merchants, and customers, and ability to integrate those perspectives
- Ability to identify and communicate business priorities to diverse stakeholders
- Data savvy with ability to analyze business fundamentals, anticipate market changes, and make fact-based decisions

Responsibilities
- Manage the sourcing process to build Walmart Sourcing, Merchant, and Product Development strategies for Domestic and Direct Import
- Develop supplier relationships
- Identify sourcing opportunities to ensure supplier capability
- Guide partners and suppliers to ensure product quality, delivery, and cost goals
- Ensure follow-up of all sourcing activities with teams and suppliers
- Analyze data and compile reports
- Develop complex sourcing strategies for existing products
- Work with Product Developers to create innovative Marketside & Freshness Guaranteed products
- Work directly with Merchants to ensure critical business metrics are met and influence future growth strategies
