Requirements

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a UX designer on agile product development teams, working from inception to launch on customer-facing features, with demonstrable experience in complex, technical product domains. Expertise in designing for AI products, conversational interfaces, or intelligent systems is required, with experience in chatbots, voice interfaces, or agentic AI systems strongly preferred. A portfolio showcasing AI/conversational work, representative of skills in solving complex interaction problems with intelligent systems, natural language interfaces, or automation, is essential. A strong understanding of current AI capabilities and limitations is necessary to design realistic and achievable user experiences, along with an ownership mindset for emerging technology.

Responsibilities

The Senior AI UX Designer will champion human-AI collaboration by understanding customer needs and advocating for human-centered AI design that amplifies user capabilities while maintaining control and trust. They will pioneer AI interaction design by building foundational design patterns for conversational interfaces, agentic workflows, and AI transparency, and define how users interact with intelligent systems. The role involves designing breakthrough AI experiences through leading AI-focused brainstorms, creating conversational flows, exploring multi-modal interactions, building AI prototypes, and crafting accessible interfaces. Responsibilities also include leading AI UX research and testing for conversational interfaces and agentic workflows, partnering cross-functionally with product managers and engineers to ensure UX considerations are integrated into AI development, and establishing AI design standards including conversation design principles, error handling, and transparency guidelines.
