Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and preferably hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant, or Philippine CPA license. They require 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role within a publicly traded company, demonstrating advanced Excel proficiency, including lookups, pivot tables, and sum if functions, along with proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax preparation, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will support the Finance and Accounting team by completing the monthly close process, including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation, while preparing consolidated financial statements. They will analyze general ledger transactions, collaborate with the AP team to prepare accruals and reclass entries, prepare monthly account reconciliations, maintain prepaid and fixed asset records in NetSuite, and collaborate with outsourced accounting and payroll service providers. Additionally, they will review Sales & Use tax requirements by state, assist with the annual external audit, record intercompany transactions, collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements, assist in developing internal controls, and perform special projects and ad hoc duties as assigned.
