Requirements

Experienced Senior Account Supervisor/Account Supervisor level with knowledge of brand building, corporate reputation, and traditional media landscape
Proven track record delivering a wide range of project types and managing complex issues
Experience working with large Japanese or non-Japanese international companies
Passion for categories including Tech, F&B, Health, etc., and experience working across languages
Ability to network and develop relationships with media and influencer contacts (broadcast, news, consumer, online, specialist media, influencers)
Hands-on experience or interest in growing expertise in workplace advisory communications with employees as the main audience
Proactive in leveraging AI to improve operational efficiency and deliverables while committing to human intelligence
True team player, non-hierarchical, enjoys responsibility in a large team, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, listens/empathizes with client needs

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day work for large/mid global clients and Corporate Team local clients
Help manage a fast-moving, dynamic team of 3-7 people with different expertise
Work with team leadership to ensure day-to-day delivery on brief, on time, and on budget
Collaborate with Edelman’s Integrated Solutions teams (strategic planner, creative, digital, etc.) and Asia Pacific Workplace Advisory specialist team, including Japan-based director
Solve diverse client challenges and ensure seamless integration across all team parts
Spend approximately 50% on external communications & external brand work and 50% on workplace advisory work relating to clients’ employees
Serve as the daily client contact and straddle teams across Edelman
Facilitate integration of Edelman teams as well as management of external business partners
