Degree qualification in Chemistry or similar science
Relevant experience of working in production or oilfield chemicals
Experience of supporting customer accounts and co-ordination of offshore activities, scheduling and forecasting
Excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers and teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, managing and resolving chemical production and scheduling issues
Self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems
Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
Willing to work offshore occasionally

Responsibilities

Provide onshore and offshore production chemistry support to a specific client and all associated stakeholders
Provide technical and account support, providing and implementing chemical treatment programs to enhance and protect the production process
Function as an in-house account management service rep at customer site in Stavanger for their offshore production facility
Coordinate onshore chemical sampling, testing and analysis completed offshore
Support technical projects and chemical trials
Support day to day production chemistry for client asset, interfacing with the relevant client functions and departments
Coordinate work allocation and planning, HSE investigations, employee development and training and performance feedback
Coordinate laboratory work scopes, providing technical assistance to support customer accounts
Manage chemical supply, stock projections and relevant forecasting
