We aim to transform this traditionally painstaking and manual effort into a single-click, AI-powered experience, providing accurate and detailed financial insights from day one. Our vision is to free up finance teams from tedious tasks, allowing them to focus on strategic initiatives that drive business growth.

Our team comprises finance, product, and technical experts from leading companies such as Uber, Plaid, Miro, Mollie, and Bunq. Based in Amsterdam with inspiring canal views, we are backed by prominent VCs and executives from Stripe, Plaid, and OpenAI, positioning us to redefine the future of finance.

About the Role

Stacks is seeking a highly ambitious, entrepreneurial, and commercially driven Account Executive to join our founding team in Amsterdam as our first commercial hire. This high-impact role involves close collaboration with our founder to develop and execute our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. This is a unique opportunity to accelerate your career in a fast-paced environment with limitless growth potential as you help shape the future of Stacks.

What You'll Do

  • Consultative Selling: Deeply understand client needs, provide insightful solutions, and build enduring relationships through a consultative approach.
  • Product Mastery: Become an expert on our product, mastering its intricacies to deliver compelling pitches and confidently address all client inquiries.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate customer feedback into actionable insights, ensuring product-market alignment.
  • Network Expansion: Cultivate relationships with CFOs and finance leaders, representing Stacks at industry events across Europe to broaden our reach and strengthen our network.
  • Strategic Impact: As one of our initial GTM hires, you will either close significant strategic deals or contribute to our global expansion by building future sales teams. At Stacks, career progression is merit-based, offering unlimited growth opportunities.

What You Need

  • 3-7 Years of SaaS Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role, with expertise in prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals with mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Product Intuition: Ability to quickly grasp complex products and articulate our offering with confidence and in-depth understanding.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: Motivated by ambitious goals, resilient, and prepared to invest the necessary effort to build a company from the ground up. You thrive in high-stakes environments and strive for peak performance.
  • Proven Record of Excellence: A history of outstanding achievements in previous roles, academics, sports, or other endeavors, showcasing commitment, grit, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and resilience to navigate a rapidly evolving startup environment, with a willingness to adapt to growth and change.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess clear, persuasive, and concise verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and strategies.
