Proven experience as a Security Technician or in a similar role is required. Knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems is essential. Familiarity with blueprint reading, computer hardware, hand tools, telecommunication systems, computer networking, cabling, and mechanical knowledge is necessary. The candidate must have the ability to detect potential security risks and take appropriate actions, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
The Security Technician will install, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems including CCTV, fiber optics, data networks, and access control systems. They will respond to service tickets in a timely manner and collaborate with customers and management to resolve issues. Additionally, they will maintain accurate records of service calls and programming.
