The Intermediate Backend Engineer will develop and maintain features for GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps Platform, focusing on application security testing and composition analysis. This includes implementing new features, improving existing ones, and collaborating with Product, Security, and Quality teams. Responsibilities involve gathering data points for security posture urgency, integrating collection techniques for better workflows, and optimizing data correlation at scale. The engineer will also contribute to user documentation, participate in code reviews, advocate for product quality and security, solve technical problems, and participate in on-call rotations for product operations and urgent engineering issues.
