Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Accenture MxDR Ops Security Engineering, with a 15-year full-time education. Experience in SOC Operations, networking, Linux, and security concepts is required. Familiarity with configuring/managing security controls like Firewalls, DS/IPS, EDR, UTM, and Proxy is necessary, along with knowledge of log collection mechanisms (Syslog, Log file, DB & API) and device onboarding/integration. Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential, as is the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

The Security Engineer will apply security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people, safeguarding information and infrastructure against cyber threats. Responsibilities include handling tunings, customer requests, escalations, reporting, and trainings within Security Engineering. This involves administering the Accenture proprietary SIEM for log collection, managing its lifecycle, adhering to SOPs, notifying customers of log flow issues, documenting best practices, writing KB articles, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
