Candidates should possess previous experience in EDR, MDR, XDR, security monitoring, or incident response, along with strong oral and written communication skills. Previous hands-on experience performing security operations, including security monitoring using various endpoint and network tools, deployment and tuning of security tools from vendors such as CrowdStrike and SentinelOne, and triage and analysis of potential indicators of compromise is required.
The Security Analyst will operate and tune security monitoring tools including Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), network monitoring, email security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and security automation tools, identify and analyze anomalous activity in customer technology environments, triage event data to identify potential indicators of compromise, escalate potentially malicious activity to incident responders, participate in incident investigation, containment, remediation, and recovery activities, develop and maintain customer relationships to facilitate MDR services, and develop and deliver reports on identified activity to customer stakeholders as needed.
