Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 or more years of Agile leadership as a Scrum Master, demonstrating a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, roles, and ceremonies. They should have experience in helping grow and foster learning and adherence to Agile methodologies within both Product and Engineering teams, along with a passion for defining and building agile processes and frameworks. Experience with Jira or similar project management tools is also required, and the ability to guide and mentor remote teams is highly beneficial. A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

As the Scrum Master, the individual will champion the benefits of agile development and instill agile principles and best practices for the Product and Engineering teams, providing ongoing coaching to the teams. They will manage the scope, requirements, timeline, cost, quality, team allocation, and communication around Trella’s development initiatives, identifying and managing risks/issues, and developing mitigation plans. The Scrum Master will maintain a structured, prioritized backlog, collaborate with Product on prioritization, lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, and track project activities and team communications, proactively surfacing insights or concerns to the leadership team. They will also prepare and present insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations as needed.
