Requirements

Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred
2+ years of experience working in the food industry
General high school degree, or equivalent (e.g., GED); high school diploma is preferred

Responsibilities

Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean, and sanitize receptacles on a daily basis
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them with floor scrubber
Clean and wipe down racks
Clean metal tables and sanitize on a daily basis
Re-stock vinyl gloves in all sizes in designated areas
Check for leaks, drips, and condensation
Clean all food manufacturing machinery according to SSOPs
Clean and sanitize hand wash sinks and three department sinks
Wash dishes and utensils as necessary
Use proper PPE while performing cleaning tasks
Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures according to policy when applicable
Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, organized, and safe manner at all times
Follow all health and safety regulations
Follow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility
Support the efforts of the company to maintain food safety system (SQF) and quality programs
Arrive to work at scheduled time and follow time off request procedure
Communicate with co-workers in a professional manner
Treat co-workers with respect at all times
Escalate attitude issues among janitors to FSQA Manager
Use teamwork when working with production throughout the day
