Must have 6 months continuous employment in the last 18 months
Preferred: At least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture, or production experience
Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours
Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment
Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals
Must be willing and able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Dry pickup area
Break down and set up equipment where needed
Use of high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor
Use of various chemicals to foam and scrub floor
Visually check area for cleanliness
Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA
Uphold the principles of SQF 2000
Work schedule will vary depending on production
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor, or Superintendent
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas
Assembling and disassembling equipment
Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
