Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce roles, with at least 3 years each in DevOps and QA Automation capacities
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Jenkins, Opsera)
  • Expertise in Salesforce testing tools (Provar, Selenium, Tosca) and test management platforms (TestRail, Zephyr, Jira)
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce metadata architecture, SFDX, deployment strategies, and environment management
  • Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative Salesforce tools
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Salesforce certifications such as DevOps Specialist, Platform Developer I, or QA Automation Engineer are a plus
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Copado, Gearset, Opsera, Jenkins, or AutoRABIT
  • Manage version control (Git), enforce branching strategies, perform code reviews, and maintain deployment logs and rollback procedures
  • Coordinate sandbox refreshes, metadata deployments, and environment consistency across multiple Salesforce orgs
  • Automate deployments of Apex classes, LWCs, Flows, and configuration artifacts (profiles, permission sets, etc.)
  • Utilize AI-enabled QA platforms to auto-generate test scripts, predict high-risk areas in code, and detect anomalies in user flows using behavioral insights
  • Integrate Agentic AI tools to proactively recommend deployment optimizations, detect change impact across environments, and guide release readiness decisions
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure SOX, GDPR, and audit-readiness throughout the release cycle
  • Define and execute test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across Salesforce applications
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases using tools like Provar, Selenium, Tosca, or TestNG
  • Perform manual testing for edge cases and complex workflows where automation is insufficient
  • Manage test data, validate configurations/customizations, and ensure accurate business process testing
  • Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and monitor quality metrics (escaped defects, test coverage, stability)
  • Collaborate closely with Developers, BAs, Product Owners, and Release Managers to align testing and deployment timelines
  • Enforce DevOps and QA best practices across teams and support continuous improvement
  • Lead defect triage, release sign-off, and deployment activities across agile delivery cycles
  • Stay current with industry trends and drive the adoption of innovative tools and practices
