Requirements

  • Deep technical expertise in Salesforce platform, including Sales, Service, Experience, Revenue, and Financial Clouds
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, Visualforce pages, and declarative tools
  • Experience with secure programming practices, CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado), source control (Git), and test-driven development
  • Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware tools like MuleSoft, and OpenAPI Specifications (OAS)
  • Ability to design scalable solutions, optimize performance, implement logging/monitoring/alerting, and troubleshoot issues
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous delivery, agile methodologies, and Salesforce governance best practices
  • Leadership skills to recruit, retain, mentor, and grow engineering teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Salesforce engineers and admins, including conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning
  • Advocate for team priorities, recruit/retain talent, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, DevOps mindset, and high-trust environments
  • Own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce initiatives, ensuring quality, timeliness, stakeholder satisfaction, security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
  • Establish/enforce development standards, code quality, and deployment processes; stay current with platform releases and trends
  • Drive innovation by evaluating/adopting new Salesforce features, tools, and integrations; participate in Governance COE and Architecture Review Boards
  • Design/implement scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, Aura, declarative tools; develop/support components, forms, and secure practices
  • Lead development with CI/CD, Git, TDD; optimize/refactor code; implement logging/monitoring/alerting; troubleshoot application/data issues
  • Design/support inbound/outbound integrations using APIs and MuleSoft; provide OAS for external teams; collaborate on data modeling/access
  • Extend support to testing teams; partner with Product Owners/cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, demos, grooming, standups)
