Position Overview

This role focuses on the Order to Cash (O2C) business process within the Information Platforms team. The team is responsible for the management and improvement of business applications driving S&P Global, including Salesforce, Order to Cash, Order Fulfillment, Reporting, and Workflow tools. This position offers daily opportunities to collaborate with diverse individuals and develop strong team dynamics with global colleagues.

About the Role

You will work alongside a Salesforce and integrating systems Solutions Architect and other team members, utilizing your Salesforce skills to enhance the Salesforce Platform. Your involvement will span strategic planning and execution across various Salesforce areas, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, App Partners, Revenue Cloud, Lightning, Wave, and more.

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager / Business Analyst to lead projects from conception to completion in an Agile environment across multiple CRM teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Salesforce.com implementations or customizations from an Agile perspective, end-to-end.
  • Act as an Agile Scrum Master, facilitating meetings such as Daily Scrums, Retrospectives, and inter-team meetings.
  • Analyze complex technical details surrounding software product requirements.
  • Collaborate with and guide Product Owners to address technical gaps in requirements.
  • Remove impediments beyond the team's scope to ensure focus on development work.
  • Support the change management process for deploying new improvements to production.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize Salesforce for business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Foster a high-performing team through continuous improvement of team dynamics and performance.
  • Manage CPQ and Billing projects for Salesforce.com implementations and customizations from an Agile perspective.
  • Perform Salesforce configurations, including building flows, reports, Lightning pages, and validation rules.
  • Possess strong troubleshooting skills to debug issues.
  • Foster a high-performing team through continuous improvement of team dynamics and performance.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a business analyst in a technical environment.
  • BA/BS in a relevant field (business or technology) or equivalent experience, with an understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing, including product setup, product options, price rules, product rules, and contracts.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Deep knowledge of and passion for Agile/Scrum, including Agile metrics and reporting techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills (presentational, active listening, consensus-building, cross-functional support at all levels).
  • Salesforce Certifications or willingness to achieve Admin certification within the first year.
  • Ability to clearly gather and document software requirements.
  • Experience working effectively in a dynamic development environment within large, global teams.
  • Ability to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or critical issue management.
  • Aptitude for nurturing self-organizing, high-performing teams.
