Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Computer Science, or Mathematics, along with 5+ years of experience with core platform systems in a health plan, TPA, or healthcare-related setting. Preferred experience includes Health Rules Payer, provider data, and network configuration, as well as hands-on experience with health plan building, benefits configuration, and system administration. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL, and familiarity with healthcare operations, regulations (HIPAA, CMS, ACA), and project management tools are essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also required.

Responsibilities

The Configuration Business Analyst will act as a subject matter expert for provider data and claims platforms, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and implementing enhancements. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting system requirements, conducting gap analyses, ensuring data integrity through audits and validation, and developing test plans. The role involves collaborating with technical teams and business users, providing end-user training, supporting system upgrades and implementations, and managing system-related projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
