Position Overview

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Sales Support Representative 3 provides timely and effective sales administrative support to assist with the acquisition or retention of customers. This role performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment, and may apply intermediate mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process sales and invoices to ensure customer orders are paid accurately and on time.
  • Draft sales documentation, proposals, reports, and correspondence such as sales contracts and maintenance agreements.
  • Perform standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics.
  • Conduct background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support sales team activities.
  • Respond to internal and customer inquiries.
  • Communicate with staff from other areas of the organization to confirm order status and resolve customer complaints.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer records.
  • Exercise discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting/adapting procedures, processes, and techniques.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of administrative experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Excel).
  • Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits (as this role is part of Humana's Driver Safety Program).
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
